Too bad it's too far to kayak, because there are really no eco-friendly ways to get to Thailand from the U.S. But once you're there, the Old Bangkok Inn, featured in yesterday's NYT, is green both literally and metaphorically, with its salvaged teak furnishings and solar-heated water.
